I have Wine 2.8 set to Windows 7/Windows 10, with these DLLs enabled: screenshot (“natywna” = “native”, “wbudowana” = “built-in”).
I ran other games using Wine, such as Hearthstone and Shadowverse, but all that happens when I try to run ToL is a pink screen and a crash after about a minute.
Game works fine on this PC on an actual Windows 7, for the record.

Back to OP, I’ve seen people run it successfully, but some have hanging at the login screen for connecting to Steam. Wine is officially “unsupported”, so we can’t help much further 
but yeah I saw a few in Discord using it. @eevee I think uses it.?
Not wine.
Virtual machine with gpu passthrough. Very resource consuming and not recomended for any machine not made for it. But it works.
Wine didn’t work tho for me, even tho I tried earlier. It was few patches before tho.
