Horror Wraith (Neutral Killer) - Slow Burn Neutral Killer.
Day Ability 1: Horror Mark. Unlimited use.
Mark a target with an Eldritch horror. This will kill the person in three days. [Horror mark someone day 1, they die day 4.]
The target isn’t made aware that they’ve been marked [No system message]. Instead, a shadowy nightmare can be found in their rooms / in the court for them alone. As the day of their death grows closer, the figure gets more noticeable. Only those aware of their surroundings and paying attention will notice the horror mark, and be able to alert others to it’s presence. The only way to remove the horror mark is to kill the Neutral Killer.
[For example, First room horror mark will be nothing more than a small shadow in the court. Hard to see unless paying attention. Day two, more noticeable. Features and the room are morphed. Day immediately before death, the entire room is twisted [Like a nightmare version.] and impossible to ignore / miss.]
Day Ability 2 (Optional): Terrify. Two uses.
Select a target that has been horror marked. This target is struck by terror [system message or visual queue], losing their ability to speak and having their horror mark advanced to the final stage [So they will die the next day]. This also prevents them from voting, accusing and using abilities.
Night Ability 1: Mimicry. Unlimited uses.
Anyone using investigative skills on you tonight will instead get the references of a horror marked player of your choice. [Example; If you have a Princess and an assassin horror marked, you can choose the Princess and show up as Special / Inves and BD that night, or the assassin and show up as Killer / Offensive and Unseen.]
Night Ability 2: Unleash Horrors [Night 3 and after]. Two uses.
Everyone visiting the Neutral Killer, or one of his Horror Marked, is exposed to the horrors and thus marked themselves, as if they had been marked the prior day during court.
Passive: Unending Horror
Immune to occupation and death.
Passive 2: All Seeing.
The Neutral Killer gains ‘vision’ through his horror marks. As such, he can see the marked ones classes besides their names on the list. [Such as when a player is dead. Except they’re not dead. Yet.]
Comments: I ran this by my chat during a stream. The basic concept was a slow burn neutral killer, that grew from my initial idea of a need to look around the environment for clues and information. Also horror is cool as fuck and this idea is baller to me, in theory.
