more instruments if u have the strength to hold more, an dungeoneers pack, any of the packs are usually good, food, torches, waterskin, a bed

If you are nitpicky enough (like me) I would recommend you to buy the things yourself, the packs don’t save you any relevant quantity of money but they are very practical
man im 0,5 over being encumbered and i still dont have water or a bed
Do i need any mule gear or just the mule itself
Im gonna be the guy that gets a mule to only carry a bedroll and some food and water
@Geyde what is your view on death in this game? is it more narratively driven where death is low (you won’t try too hard to get us killed unless we do something really stupid) or is it more tactical where we have to think ahead more and death is a lot more likely?

You don’t need a saddle for a mule, however you will need at least a rope and saddlebags.
You can’t even ride a mule.
