Id reccomend UA Ranger ( but some people dont like UA Ranger(like WOTC, cause they dont want to admit they made ranger bad)) as a fun starting class, or fighter or monk
anyway if there isnāt a good pic you can simply put down a description and imagine them as pretty
nah UA Ranger gets a cool ass animal companion that has its own turn and doesnt require you giving it commands constantly, its pretty cool
wotc: You see we donāt really need familiar as a class feature as you can have a wizard without a familiar so it is a spell
wotc: You are also forced to pick an animal companion as a ranger.

ughhh i have my backstory planned out but actually writing it is a PAIN
ima slow trickle in effort while i read and listen to music -_-
I really hope they make a book of more classes, i think they did that in 4e (think it was the PHB 2), and I hope if they do they just make UA Ranger in an official book and expand on it

I did like 5 of them because no one homebrewed them or homebrewed them decently
Most snow elves homebrews for example DIDNāT READ THE CLASS LORE because it EXPLICTLY states the cold elves are not naturally resistent to cold.
everyone has bard as some instrument player but can bard have other forms of art as well?
like, painting, dancing, singing, etc?
I had a bard whose method of casting was through tap-dancing with special shoes.

Depends on the GM
Anything that makes sound, though. You just need the right pitches to cast magic (verbal component), not to say any specific words. Thatās why musical instruments work. And in the case of musical instruments, they are also an arcane focus (material component) and you make certain gestures to play them (somatic focus).
The more you move away from this, the most you lose bardi-ness and start to be similar to a wizard.
Hence why tap shoes still work. The rhythm is āverbalā, as it were, you make the somatic gestures with your feet, and it acts as a material component.
