I had some fun, as long as most players were no vets and noone who took FM too serious
I play FM because I love social deduction games and always will. And not just any kind of social deduction games; the ones that are really tense. I also feel like the way Forum Mafia works just makes it a lot easier to bond between members of this community. I’ve developed connections here on the i42 forums that go far, far deeper than any connection could with a person I’ve communicated with in the ToL community.

Yes, I’d say I have several connections here that go deeper than most people I know IRL.

For me it’s the other way around
I have deep friendships on the tol discord, with some of them I have thousands of posts in my private dms
While there was only a single person in the forums I ever had that kind of relationship
- Find a topic you like and that someone else likes
- Talk about that until you can do other shit
- I don’t know I ran out of ideas after step 1

I don’t think it’s possible for standard ToL players to develop those kinds of deep friendships through ToL.
