yes i just realized this.
I don’t believe it to be possible while talking only like ToL like priestess claims.
She initially messaged me about a pervasive debate on the ToL server that we were on opposite sides of saying that she wanted to understand my perspective better
Initially we mostly talked about ToL but we started talking about non-ToL things at some point and wound up becoming really close
that’s the short version
see, it’s talking about other things that really deepens the connections
Yeah, when you talked a lot about tol, you might start to trust each other at least as far that you’re talking a bit about your irl problems too

I could have made more friendships in ToL but never reached out, and now this conversation is making me so sad that I used to play with some really great people in the OG days of the game but I’ll never be able to communicate with any of them ever again, and in most cases, I’ve already forgotten most names.

Irl I moved 8 times. Each time I just left my whole friends behind and never had contact again. It’s very relieving.
