I don’t want to refund it but if the game doesn’t even run there’s not much point…
A few people are having issues, we’re looking into the problem.
Are your graphics drivers up to date?
So it might have been a bugged build with the recent patch. I put out a patch on the beta server that might work for you.
To join the test server, right click ToL in Steam and go to Properties.
Go to the Beta tab and then enter the code “twelvecharacters”
Then select testing2 in the dropdown.
You will still be able to play with people on the live server.
I just tried again, after updating my drivers and whatnot. Same behavior, crash while loading the “scripted tutorial”
Opting into the Beta as you recommended worked! I was able to load the tutorial.
There’s a new update out on the live server, so you should be able to switch back to that and have everything work.
