Just thought of a terrible setup (feel free to post your own)

it was townsided because towngoddess marshal signed up for it

you could technically make it work

there are settings to make a player flipless, and you can revive players manually

ā€¦i wouldnā€™t do it cause its terrible design but :joy_cat:

ok but that sounds like a headache

and I want to experiment with setup design while having an easy automated game

yeah this is why i started small with sonic

lemme know if you need help with modbot stuff i experimented a decent bit and should know most of the ins and outs, but itā€™s honestly pretty intuitive

ok so

joat poisoner off the table

suicide bomber is off the table because town suicide bomber is dumb when itā€™s literally an IC

yeah I would kinda slap together a setup if it wasnā€™t champs season and there wasnā€™t already 12009 games on the queue

you imply that there isnā€™t only 2 games waiting to start

town 1 shot arsonist

is that dumb enough to put in

i feel like having 1 shit arsonist and 1 shot vig in the same setup is cheating though

i mean 1 shot arsonist is effectively a named townie

im pretty sure igniting counts as an action

i can run a test game to find out tho

(im not sure if thats the point or not, i assume so but the 2nd message implied otherwise)

Town Power Roles:

To determine the town power roles, roll a die six times and mark down the numbers. Each roll corresponds to a grouping below.

1-3: Investigative
4-5: Protective
6: Killing

Mark down the number of each grouping and add the corresponding roles from the table below.

Add as many Vanilla Town roles as necessary to bring the total number of Town roles to 10.

Mafia Power Roles:

Count the number of town power roles from above, then take that number minus one. Roll a die that many times and mark down the numbers. Add the corresponding roles from the table below.

I said bad setups not trash setups

Iā€™m looking for ironically bad not unironically bad

yeah I meant to have them douse and then ignite

however mafia named Townie is funny

Evil #1 - Psychopath

You must nightly stab to death any other player. You win the game if you survive until:

  • n3 if you stabbed to death the Foolish Recruiter without him or her having targeted you before or during that night or
  • n4.

Evil #2 - Foolish Recruiter

On night 0, you choose any other player as your Recruitment Target. You win by completing two steps in order:
First , get lynched. If on a particular day you are:

  • not lynched, you retain all of your previously chosen Recruitment Target(s) and may choose another Recruitment Target for the next day.
  • lynched, you have successfully completed the first of two steps to achieve victory.

If you choose the Psychopath as your Recruitment Target on:

  • any night except n0, you die with a reveal that falsely states you were Vanilla Town. In reality, you join the Psychopath as a Ghost Mason with whom you may share 24/7 chat; you win only if the Psychopath wins.
  • n0, you do not die, and your role from the very start is as a Mason in alignment with the Psychopath instead of being a Foolish Recruiter.

Second , one of your Recruitment Targets must be lynched. Each of your Recruitment Target(s) will receive an updated role PM informing them that they are now converted from Town into Evil Recruitment Acolyte(s). If there are multiple Recruitment Acolytes, they will not know each otherā€™s identities. Their updated role PM(s) will inform them that their win condition is now to be lynched.

x11 Town

The Town wins the game if and when all non-Town players have died without having reached their win conditions.

  • FBI Agent [n2/n3] - You are initially told falsely that you are Vanilla Town. At the start of n2, you are informed that you actually are the FBI Agent. On n2 and n3, you may shoot another player. If your target is:
----the Foolish Recruiter, you and the Foolish Recruiter are informed of each otherā€™s identities and that you are now both a Recruitment Target and Acolyte. This is the only way a player can become a Recruitment Acolyte while the Foolish Recruiter is still alive.
    ----the Psychopath, that player dies.
----any other player, a Vanilla Town player is randomly chosen to die.
  • Rational Analyzer [d1 or d3/4] - You may exercise the following power either on d1 or on both d3 and d4. You may target another player. If that player is:
----a Recruitment Target and/or Recruitment Acolyte, you and your target are informed that your target remains Town and is no longer a Recruitment Target (if that is the case) and/or that your target becomes Town and is no longer a Recruitment Acolyte (if that is the case).
----not a Recruitment Target and/or Recruitment Acolyte, nothing happens.
The power must be exercised by sending the host a PM 6 to 17 hours before EOD. A response will be given within 4 hours, but never with less than 4 hours before EOD.
  • Vanilla x9 - Upon the death of the Psychopath, each Vanilla Town may submit nightly the name of another player. One name will be chosen randomly from among the submitted names; that randomly chosen player dies.
