Knight vs bear results in hunter dying

What happened?

2: possessor
6: hunter
8: knight
9: observer

On n1:
8 guards 9
6 bears
2 makes 9 attack 6

Outcome:
9 attacks 6, triggers bear. bear attacks 9. 8 takes the hit from bear and attacks 6.
6 and 8 die

What was SUPPOSED to happen?

8 dies. 9 might die, depending on interpretation. 6 should survive.

I don’t think you should be able to die from your own bear.

As Hunter bear is supposed to block any and all attacks, even immunity piercing attacks, you are probably correct!

Maybe 2 made 6 attack 9 and not 9 attack 6? Then it would be correct and simple.

We didn’t get good logs from 9, but we did from 6 - pretty sure they weren’t possessed.
