but higher-ups said no to discord
there’s this kid who is always on the fucking toilet during zooms
like without fail
and a few uh… unsavory jokes have been said
for some reason Zoom has this problem for me where my room randomly starts flashing red for no clear reason, which is obviously distracting to everyone else
the upshot of this is that it’s really easy to sell all my professors on letting me not use a camera during class but it’s a kind of baffling problem
well you could use one and it would probably solve the problem
it’s also fun
my friend just streamed the entirety of shrek as his virtual background during theatre zooms and like he keeps it going so like it’ll stop when class ends and he’ll resume it when we are in class on another day
which is obviously more fun then whatever we are doing in class

I just have a black background because while I keep my room clean I think that a teacher got mad at me for my “that’s what she said” poster in my room so for those zooms I just keep it as a black virtual background and it’s easier to just have it that way for all of them
