no because if your dumb enough to get into a stalemate you deserve it
2nd worst is losing because your King gets taken.
Ami has a point
doot
please don’t
jane was at # for 13 turns
I don’t know what that meeeaaans
theres three ways to get into a stalemate
agree to call it a draw
only kings are left
the other player cannot make any moves but their king isnt in check
2/3 of those scenarios require some dumbassery
if one side can’t make a move the game ends in a draw
so if you trap a king on all sides but don’t have them in check
good job, you just lost
it means you could have forced them into a checkmate in X turns
at turn 25 they were at #5 which means they could have been checkmated in 5 turns
at turn 30 they were at #2
you checkmated them at turn 38
yes
the objective is to put your opponent in CHECKmate
not TRAPPEDmate
isn’t there also a rule that says that if you repeat the exact same position three times it’s a stalemate
hides
i want it to show how many blunders/mistakes you nerds did
because it was kinda hilarious watching jane throw their rook away and sulit not taking it
ily sulit
Yes, there is.
i said I was bad at chess
fair but that rule like never comes up unless one side is steamrolling or there is like 3/4 pieces on the board
i challenge you to a game of chess
