I’ma go take an exam but if you have a PS4 I highly recommend buying Persona 5 or Persona 5 Royal, if not honestly just install PCSX2 and emulate a PS2 to play P3 or P4. Unless you own a PS2.

The only issues I had emulating P3 FES (I own an actual disc and have also played it on a PS2 but my laptop is just more convenient) were some occasionally oddly-spaced text in speech bubbles that was perfectly fine on the actual PS2, and if I tried to upscale it too much there were some weird things happening - but just playing at a PS2’s default resolution worked fine.

which, logically, means i could probably ask him to let me play

See there’s a decent chance if you say “hey I wanna play Persona 5 can I borrow your PS4” that he’s like “You want to play Persona 5? Fucking take it!”

assuming hes not playing through anything on it i don’t see why he wouldn’t let me

but he’s not home very often which means he probably isn’t

but i also have to be awake when he’s home, which given his schedule, is surprisingly uncommon

although being a nurse during covid-19 will do that

In 2020, do you play Vanilla Persona 5, or Persona 5 Royal?

Having gotten a few months into it I’m kinda leaning Royal, because thus far nothing actively detracts from the experience sans nighttime being a few seconds faster, shoving the new character in a bit too much at the start, and the new battle theme being much less memorable - but like there are benefits that probably outweigh those
