Anyway if I remember right the reason you do not assume mafia is flipped is because mafia can kill two people each night until one mafia dies, if I remember correctly. They can choose not to perform the second kill, leading to people to assume that mafia is lynched, which is why you never assume it in the first place. I think that the person who was insulted shouldn’t play with those type of people, if they aren’t going to be welcoming to a person who is new
I think you misunderstood my statement when I said “liking each other”. Liking each other was in this context meant to be understood as “behaving nicely”, as the statement I replied to was talking about how you cannot insult each other IRL.
Like the group of people obviously doesn’t punish people if they insult new people for making mistakes. However I’m pretty sure if a person did something socially unacceptable to them, they would kick them out.
Then that brings up a new question.

Insulting each other (outside of the lightest kindergarten insults) is socially never acceptable

Your socially accepted behavior does not equal others socially accepted behavior. I made a comment that Video Mafia can do the same thing with throwing people out, however they didn’t because it was socially accepted there.

No my point is that ww/video mafia aren’t that different. They both can throw people out, for whatever reasons they like.
