Because in all your reads there is always this little pinch of arrogance, the “how can you even dare to think that I might be scum”
Voting pattern is usually the best indicator of slot alignment. Which is why group scum usually don’t vote up their own partners as that goes against their win condition.

On the point where it’s going into worldbuilding (aka “don’t you dare even think about a world where I might be scum”) its going very hard into the scumlean
because there is no reason to do this as town
I only genuinely have that when I think my alignment is pretty obviously town (or non-groupscum, at least) and that almost always means I’m a villager (because when I’m a wolf I don’t think I’m obviously town)
like, Amelia wasn’t acknowledging that people might scumread her, she was treating the possibility of her flipping scum as if it were a world she genuinely believed in
You absolutely can. I was a top poster for months before I switched my attitude. Now I’m in the middle ground.
I can show you my game history to prove it. You can do this. They just have to realize that they are making the game more difficult to play for the entire village.
It’s not an impossible task. It’s not even a difficult one. You just have to realize what the problems are and change your mindset.
A hard restriction is a bad idea. Just think before posting. “Does this contribute in any way?” If it doesn’t, don’t post it.
Thing is, reading flipped villagers is also useful because it can provide reasons why they were nightkilled – potentially reasons which only become obvious in hindsight. Which is why, again. Make this a possible task. Don’t hyperpost.
You can always play like Jaleb and insult everyone who dares to scumread you.

…because I’m self-aware enough as both alignments to be aware of all the ways in which my behavior as a wolf is in fact wolfy (and conversely, the ways in which my behavior as a villager is villagery)
But tbh he kind of had a point. People here are way too paranoid regarding bussing despite that while it happens from time to time it rarely has won games because of it.
