It turns out, Augustus Daughter had sex with a lot of the senate. Augustus found out, and summoned all the senators to form a line. He basically asked each one of them if they had sex with his daughter. He asked one person if he slept with his daughter, and he said “No I haven’t slept with her”. Augustus replies with some sort of “Oh, so not while laying down?”. He asks someone else and they said “only once”. And he replies, “Oh, only once?” In a sarcastic manner.
The kicker of this, is at the end of this part, he screams, “Is there anyone in Rome WHO HASN’T SLEPT WITH MY DAUGHTER?”. his daughter got banished by him to an island as he wanted to set a example.
