my bio professor keeps expecting us to have done readings for the discussion section
and not putting the readings on the syllabus, or announcing them in class, or sending us an email saying ‘hey, there’s a reading,’ or doing literally anything whatsoever to communicate that there’s a reading we need to do

a lot of other places do it as well
shift+enter on steam or discord has you go down a line without sending a message,
and ctrl+enter on youtube and a good amount of boxes like it tends send a message
