Legends' Legacy [Roleplay Thread]

The fighting continues, and despite even the help from the cultists, the mortal guards protecting the entrance of the building are unable to keep the swarm of crazed protesters from barging inside the tower. A group of about ten or so rioters charges at Danny, Arnold, and Pierre.

ā€œNice.ā€

Francis runs up and follows the group behind, also going into the building.

Heā€™s curious.

Rito hears a link from one of his cultists that sounds like heā€™s been injured
(ā€œBrother Qintell, thereā€™s too many of them - we need hel-ā€)
The connection suddenly cuts off
ā€œWell, if you want something done, you have to do it yourself.ā€
He walks towards where everyone else is located

D: sighs ā€œNow I know why Iā€™m getting paid so muchā€¦ The security is absolute garbage, having to rely on a kid. Everyone stand back. Rush them when I say go.ā€

Daniel shoots enough lightning to stun the frontline, carving a small dent in them

D: ā€œRemember, donā€™t fight to kill!ā€

You can hear Pierre grumbling about a kid ordering him around in the background

P: ā€œBut Iā€™m the head of securityā€¦ā€

Daniel uses his enhanced powers to disable the mind controlled protestors while Arnold provides support by slowing down the protesters and speeding up his allies. They have impeccable teamwork together.

ā€œOh? They are Legacy too?ā€

His eyes glints with interest.

ā€œMaybe I should interfere a bit.ā€

From behind, he kicks a protester forward toward the others.

Rito comes down to see the events which are taking place. He casts an orb of shadows at the people trying to harm his allies

Daniel continues to subdue the protesters, yet itā€™s not enough. They continue to rush the building, practically clawing their way through the doors. It looks as if thereā€™s a good thirty protesters rushing the main group at this point, though they are all unarmed.

@MaximusPrime

Taking a peeble, Francis throws it at Danielā€™s head with good accuracy.

Daniel sighs again

D: ā€œI really didnā€™t want to do thisā€¦ Itā€™s a weekday during work hours how are there even so many protestors about. I better get a payraise after this.ā€

Daniel begins to charge up his electricity

A pebble hits Danielā€™s head but it does not faze him

Arnold pulls Pierre behind the receptionistā€™s desk right as Daniel releases his supernova of lightning above the protestors, stunning everyone within sight

D: unsteadily ā€œWow I havenā€™t tried that in a while.ā€

A: pointing at Francis ā€œYoung master, there is a Legacy watching us.ā€

(wait what)

(fuck)

Most of the protesters are stunned by the sudden burst of light, however some seem to be completed unaffected. One of them grabs hold of Danielā€™s neck, attempting to strangle him. Two others double-team Arnold, and another goes to attack Pierre.

my body is still extremely charged up, so he lets go in surprise as he gets shocked

Daniel then kicks the man(is it a man?) in the groin and jabs him at his pressure points to make him pass out

Meanwhile, Arnold uses his time shifting abilities to defeat the other goons(letā€™s just say Arnold knows a martial art or two or something i guess)

Pierre just tries to put the dude to sleep since itā€™s only one person.

Comes near Francis, having completed two deliveries in the time span. Parking by the Francisā€™ car._

Holy Moley. That shit looks dangerous. Best call the riot police.
Proceeds to dial the police.
Time to skiddadle.

Takes a package and proceeds to pass by Francis.
That guy looks familiar.

Francis retreats once he sees the guards using their power.

Heā€™s mostly human after all.

Then the protesters start attacking the guard?

Francis decides to return to his car.

Bumps into Francis.
The package drops. Lucky it ainā€™t fragile.

ā€œCareful, man.ā€

He ignores Gar and unlocks his car.

Hmm no scratch. Nice.

Once I finally disable the protestors, I walk toward Francis

D: ā€œHey! Who do you think you are, fooling around and running away. The Presidentā€™s son?ā€

D: ā€œWhat a brat, trying to harm an innocent child.ā€ (Daniel is obviously neither innocent nor a child, but he looks young)

A: ā€œWait, young master! It could still be dangerous!ā€

P: Shakes his head

ā€œWho are you again?ā€

Francis asks, clearly disinterested.

Come on, he just throws a peeble. Itā€™s not like he put any force behind it.

Suddenly, a young protester approaches Daniel and Francis. Unlike the others, he seems completely unscathed, and his demeanor strikes you as that of someone who is perfectly sane. Quite nonchalantly, he winds up a punch and throws it into Danielā€™s gut. It feels worse than the gunshot.

(At who? Francis?)
