Thomas’s dogs approach Rito, their eyes narrowed.
Francis opens his eyes. His hands move swiftly in the air, creating an intricate pattern.
“Evil shall not prevail in the face of justice. Evil is hated by the world. Evil is fated to lose at the end!”
A third contratpion is formed. Bright red in the furnace, it is bigger than his first two contraptions, shaped long and thin like a blade.
“Evil can never win in the face of justice. But is there any justice left in the world?! Is there justice in the corrupt paperwork and selfish men who want to surpress the advancement of humanity?! Never! For the progression of technology, I, Francis, will become…”
His hands make a pulling motion. The contraption jumps out of the furnace right into ice cold water. Steams hazes his sight.
“A mortal who tracends his position and influence the flow of the river of fate and time!”
“Fuck, fuck. I have a bad feeling about this. Where the hell is that idiot’s workshop?!”
Francis has been circling around for a while to find Edmund’s address to no avail. Edmund had long moved his workshop to his headquarter, where a small devout group of craftmen spend their time creating new devices.
Of course, that means the workshop is a bit secluded; It is located in the industrial area rather than residential area.
(damn thats long)
(do u not have a legend)
Thus leaving behind the commotion that is the government building. Our dear Garfield is parking his bike by a free-parking zone. 2 streets away from the office.
He makes his way for the café, to get his daily espressó.
Laura, on the other hand, is buying groceries at the local supermarket. Can’t expect the sleepy man to do anything he doesn’t want to after all. Prawns… Beef… Spinach…
She is still selecting groceries.
Thomas calls his dogs back, a message being sent to his brain.
H: There is one in the supermarket. Don’t let me down.
T: I will not, master.
(although she can’t hear him)
Thomas strides confidently to the supermarket.
(Remember. Laura is not a legacy. She yields no allegiance to any legend yet.)
(she has connections tho)
(could i get her to join hel too)
(if we team up that would be sick)
She puts the packet of rock sugar into her trolley.
That should be the last one… Why can’t I stop thinking about his words…
Thomas arrives at the supermarket, his blank eye rolling in its socket. He bids his dogs to stay outside.
Laura finishes paying at the counter.
She’s humming a soft tune. By Lazarus Gaius. Apparently from a game of some sort.
Thomas’s primordial senses tell him that she is the one that he’s been looking for.
T: Leaving so soon?
Rito looks at the dogs that laid their eyes upon him. He creates a look of intimidating scorn
She looks at the man, who spoke those words.
" “Leaving so soon” isn’t exactly a good way to greet someone."
(um they left a while back)
Poker face. No emotions can be seen through her facial expressions.
T: Uh, sorry. I’m not very good at starting conversations.
He flushes.
(Not sure where they are. She only finished paying at the counter. Technically you stopped her at the entrance or something.)
