H: Huh.
āI was taught of such events when I was younger. Destiny is unique to each individual, but some destinies mingle to create a chain of events resulting in positive or negative consequences.ā
Chapter 4 complete!
Laura is cleaning up the house, noting her work has been done. By who however.
Gar is just laying on the ground, sprawled in a star figure.
ā¦ Justā¦ donāt make me worryā¦
H: Well, I donāt know about destiny, but Iāve seen this face before.
H: Well. Iāll see ya around.
He walks off down the road.
Rito ponders to himself about what could be happening outside of the government building, so he heads toward the local market
Laura is whistling a tune. Clearly she was awake. Now she probably had to go back to sleep again soon, but she was sooooo refreshed! She could do about anything!
As the sun starts to set, Francis and his group indulge themselves in drinkā¦ Well, except Francis who refuse to.
āWhat is worse than dying at the hand of fate while you cannot feel it? No!ā
ā¦he still get drunk at the end after someone spike his mocktail.
āYes! Yes! All hail Dionysus for discovering wine! Now, let us go home and make our devices!ā
Drunken craftmen drunkenly walk back to thr workshop. Francis on the other handā¦
āGood drink, good drink! I must share the wineā¦ā
But with who, he wonder? He doesnāt know where Real or Laura are. The craftmen already drunk. That leaves him with-
āGuards, guards. With the soul of Terminus and humility of the lars~ā
Stumbling over the street, holding a bottle of wine, is a drunk Francis. He seems to enjoy himself slowly humming to himself.
As Rito heads to the market, he sees Francis stumbling as if heās intoxicated. He has a feeling that the man is planning on starting trouble again
āYou again? What are you doing out here so late at night?ā
Thomas, too, walks down this road.
Harbinger speeds down a pavement to deliver a parcel. A person is in his path but he isnāt concentrating so does not steer clear
Thomas sees Rob running towards him and in a second he activates his and his dogsā auras.
(you remember what that does right)
Harbinger feels weak and stops.
H: Sorry sir, I wasnāt concentrating. How did you do that? Do you follow a legend too?
Harbinger vomits in a nearby bin
T: What? Oh, you too. Well, come with me and Iāll explain.
Harbinger takes a few deep breaths then follows Thomas. He puts the parcel in his backpack.
H: So then, whatās your legend?
T: If I told you it was Hel, would you believe me?
H: Totally, because mine is Ratatoskr! Norse Buddies!!!
Harbinger awkwardly tries to high-five Thomas
(btw its Rob)
He doesnāt respond, but one of his dogs licks Rob.
T: Anyway, it seems like our legends know each other. So why donāt weā¦ become companions.
