Legends of Merathia (A D&D campaign)[Chapter Six: Manhunt]

Jeoffrey: All we’ve really heard is “I’m in a time loop”, so we can’t prove any of it, but it’s a theory

I am sure Chronos can see into his timelines he has created

he is toying with us. watching us try to get to him

Jeoffrey: Possibly

lets see what happened. a bomb was sent to us and blow us all up. then a giant rock crushed the entire inn killing us all up

Jeoffrey: Well I’ve been told that death hurts, so it’s probably some sort of torture method

do you have any pointers that could aid us?

Jeoffrey: If you reset, so does the rest of the world, so it stands to reason that he’s resetting too, so he can’t be too far away

why must he be close to us?

Jeoffrey: It’s a very powerful spell, so it stands to reason that he had to be close to you when he cast it

but even if we kill Chronos there are many others that will take his place

I think. this is all getting confusing

Jeoffrey: Perhaps, but if you kill him you probably break his spell, which is the important part

do you have a map I can have a look at?

you know before I am killed in a brutal death in this timeline. consider it a last request

Jeoffrey pulls out a map of Nesseltein

looks for the key buildings

There’s a lot

so any chance you can hold off arresting us until we kill Chronos? we are basically dead already? so wheres the point?

Jeoffrey: I still haven’t worked out who’s responsible so I don’t have the choice to arrest you yet
