I actually saw a car with the seat on the right side just the other day.

Confused the hell out of me. I thought my mirror stopped working properly and failed to switch things.

Highways are designed for left handed driving cars or right handed driving cars, so if you drive an imported car that is the opposite, your ability to navigate roadways will be slightly more difficult. Engineers who built those roadways always have the dominant driving handedness in mind when constructing.
