i redirected hja to astand n1 because if you recall, i thought astand’s alignment was very dubious. i tunneled him at eod1 and then hja decided to steal hammer on a town wagon, then shoot another town - a person who i explicitly said was town
this made me want to redirect her into astand because two birds with one stone. i was scumreading both of them so if at least one of them really was scum hopefully at least one would be messed up.
n2 is a different story. i ended up no actioning because i lost virtually all confidence when ici flipped green. i considered redirecting bluestorm but decided against it in the end; i thought he and ici were svs but ici flipped town so i wasn’t so sure anymore, and i didn’t really have other good targets. universal flipped green, ici flipped green, i thought my reads were a mess and i dismantled my poe. without a poe i didn’t want to redirect anyone because that could’ve screwed town over in some way. considering no one died n2 i think that noaction was a blessing since redirecting someone could’ve turned 0 kills into 1 kill
n3 i really wanted to redirect someone which is why i was against helm’s deep and supporting path of the dead, among other reasons i listed. i’m occ immune so it wouldn’t matter if somehow the dead decided to occupy me. the thing about ‘it doesn’t do anything to me’ wasn’t a bluff, i don’t have a limited night ability, only a day ability i don’t wanna share as of right now. more importantly though, i could’ve redirected Arete during the night to make sure they wouldn’t do anything fishy if you guys followed my initial plan and left Arete alive (which ended up happening anyway in very different circumstances)
the reason i wanted hammer all this time is because my hammer ability allows me to redirect two people simultaneously. i was planning to have two strong scumreads / poe target each other and potentially get a scum killed via factional kill. one redirection is not nearly as strong but two are very strong because they give twice the info.
might edit but i think this looks somewhat decent
I feel like if I want to complain about angleshooting with confirmation messages I shouldn’t have made up fake confirmation messages
if I can’t come up with a decent guess I’ll say something like ‘Solic says that he thinks it would be angleshooting BUT [xxxxx]’
