my town joat claim was supposed to be something like this:

hammer (passive): refresh all abilities
(day): heal a player tonight (1 use)
(day): occupy a player tonight (1 use)
(night): check a player’s alignment (1 use)
(night): redirect/attack a player (either one works) (1 use)

if i claim redirector i’m just gonna claim occ/red immune, infinite redirection as a night ability and the ability to redirect two people on hammer

The biggest problem there is going to be if people are obviously getting redirected with no explanation

the thing is i haven’t redirected anyone yet except bluestorm who doesn’t even know that because alice alerted that night
so that claim can’t be disproven

so I think how we’re going to want to play this is something along the lines of:

-Set comes out with a redcheck on Kitten (I think Kitten is the best target for this)
-I start trying to push the narrative that Set was actually being coached by Alice
-everyone else sheeps Set
-Set and/or Vul takes hammer
-I clean Kitten

the thing where I push Set there is because everyone is scumreading me, like it’s basically antispew just antispew designed to gain an effect before you die

I legitimately think making this a 1-shot lie detection is a better fakeclaim, basically on the principle that slightly unusual lies are more genuine than aggressively normal lies

i read a game in the past where a scum member who wasn’t posting much wrote a really pure-sounding post outing a fake red check on someone and a bunch of fake previous checks.

everybody sheeped them because of the pureness and the redchecked player was guaranteed to be the lynch because their alignment wasn’t 100% certain before and the redcheck ‘sealed it.’ they said that if the check was fake they would lynch the redchecker.

this looks like a similar situation we have here. if we sell people on the pureness and the idea we’re gonna lynch stb if the check is fake, we might be able to mislynch fk fairly easily
