For context, ONB posted on the Town of Salem forums asking us to vote for him on this poll. That’s against out site’s rules and is unsportsmanlike.

But if getting people from random places just to vote, then that is an unfair advantage as it’s coming from external sources, and not from our community
Jammy, if you need help with this, I’ll be willing just to help you out with collecting the votes for you if you feel like doing them via pms.

Anyways, if it’s that difficult you can literally see who voted in the poll, and if too many ToS people vote I’ll honestly back down, even though any of them would vote against me anyways
Regardless, this was a mistake on my part. I meant it to be a joke, but apparently was not clear enough. Fom now on I will refrain from such sarcasm in a serious vote.
I’ll sign up for and/or host a few games if it means getting a vote 
We ToSers don’t actually want to infringe on you guys, but as someone who’s taking this event seriously, asking for votes from an unrelated site couldn’t go unanswered. Considering the context of the post, it in no way seemed like sarcasm, but that really doesn’t matter at this point.

How about this:
We discount the votes of @Mantichora (welcome BTW) and anybody else with an account created today, and if the other candidates all agree that what I did was out of line I’ll step out of the running. I hope it doesn’t have to come to that (I had the original post removed), but if it does I’m more than willing to make up for my lack of tact in this fashion.
I ended it with a “:P” and strikethrough text saying that you guys all know that you want to see me lose, which I thought would be clear sarcasm. However, I have no excuses for thinking that that would be funny in the first place, as I should have considered the reactions of those who don’t know me well enough to realize I was not serious.
I have proposed my correction, and if @Frostwolf103, @PokemonKidRyan, @Rogue, and @Queen_Alfa deem that I was acting out of self-interest I will step down in a heartbeat. It’s my bad, abd if our entire process suffers for my mistake, then I’ll take the fall.
