A bunch of communities are sending their representatives.
I put a post on the ToS forum thread for their election telling them to “vote for me”, because like 95% of the FM playerbase either dislikes me or my playing. Let’s just say that the sarcasm was missed in a post I now regret.

How does one throw in a vote for someone? Came in to throw one in for Jammy or PKR since I’ve enjoyed what they’ve done so far on this site, and I’d like to see how they fare in MUs.

For reference, yes, this is going on on basically every forum with a mafia community on it. Lots of people. Game setups varies a lot from what was trying to be run in the first game on this site.
Intersite politics shouldn’t impede voting here in any manner. If people are evidently alting, then yes, discount the votes, but otherwise their vote shouldn’t be discounted.
One votes by clicking the person’s name at the top.

Yep, that would be me. 
Didn’t do much in my game onsite, but I’m going to try and pop into more over the summer. The site’s format in general just kinda squicks me out when trying to play mafia, with the lack of isos and giant scroll bar.
Yeah, I’ve tried to host a few forum games, so I’ve just had to use the URLs to help speed things on.
Although, I think maybe people would be able to use an ISO, just haven’t really seen anyone try, I think.
There’s an ISO like function if, and it’s nice how it hides everything as replies, but the site’s just different; a bit weird.
Is there anyway to convert it to a page by page function?

By discount I mean if they came here because of my post, so if they made an account today.

To use an ISO-like feature (not as good but workable), simply search the player’s name and check the “show things only in this thread” box.
And I think your that should not be allowed, because you actually did get people from the forums, so it’s unfair to cancel those votes out
You’re saying that the people that have joined recently counts should essentially be not counted. However, you were the one that suggested people to come here and vote for you.
Therefore, that is slightly an unfair tactic, and therefore, the votes should be allowed. They still voted for the person they wish to represent them

Are you saying that if I had seriously gone and gotten people to vote for me from elsewhere that that should be allowed?
Because either that is unfair and getting rid of the votes is fair, which I believe, or the opposite is, and I don’t understand that line of thought.
Regardless, I must say to that what I’ve said before: that isn’t really representative of the community, so I don’t think it should be counted.
But, as I said, if nobody else has any problems with it, I don’t really care - I’ve offered to clean up my mess, if you all prefer the outcome this way I’ll roll with it.
