I think arete suffers from a different problem in sticking to fundamentals too much when reading

one of the big things is that it’s games full of people from communities with clashing playstyles, none of whom know each other, which favors wolves a lot more than villagers

Part of that has been setup

Part has been complete strangers with all sorts of different playstyles playing

And part of it has been players on the average champs level being better at scum than town

I do think that you have too many tells and can be easily scumread accurately a lot of the time

It’s just that a good few people on this forum or more (me included) always helplessly townread you for some reason

Probably cuz no one listens to each other and everyone wants to be right. When individual play is ranked higher than being a good listener and team-player I’m not surprised town does poorly.
