note: from the wording of the question it sounds like we were hitting two town before a single scum, if we’ve lynched scum before the double mislynch that changes more than zero things
at that point I’d want to be re-evaluating to try to figure out why we mislynched twice in a row
in my experience when that’s happened it’s usually either been because there’s some sort of serious issue with the towncore/the entire towncore is filled with wolves/etc. or because the wolves are all just basically AFK and the village is wasting its time going after wolfy villagers, last time this happened (MU Marson) I tried to evaluate the gamestate to figure out which and (correctly) concluded that it was the latter
if I think it’s the former I’d look into who’s been specifically trying to maintain that state, like, people who are like ‘the towncore is pure and you can’t question it or you’re a wolf’ versus the people who are actually trying to reevaluate
if I think it’s anything in the general genre of the village destroying itself I’d look at who was trying to avoid responsibility for the wagons and/or who’s been going very under-the-radar
