Well I know a lot of the more active people had been quietly planning hydras before this was officially announced (and like for example both Arete and I were planning to ask each other to hydra but then like 40 billion people from the Discord asked them first lmao)

So I’m sure people will still be looking but you’re probably a bit late on most of the super active people

personally I think it’s less likely to work if you just show up in the thread and say ‘does anyone want to hydra’ than if you pick a specific person that you think you would work well with and ask them (and repeat if they turn you down)

also it’ll probably be more enjoyable if you’re hydraing with someone you’re friends with than if you’re hydraing with some random person you barely know

And yeah, there’s been hype for this for a while so a lot of us have already thought of hydras or taken partners

There are still people who are looking for partners I think, but a lot of us have been thinking / planning before signups officially started so we already knew who we wanted to be with.

My “active” meant moreso “in the community” than “in a game”
