however on the plus side apparently Amonkhet is coming back to MtGA later this year, and Wizards is planning to slowly implement Pioneer into the engine

now the question is
what ways are there in Historic to cheat in a 10 mana creature from your deck reliably
2 exiles, a 10/10 attack and the top 20 cards of your opponent’s library for 3 mana seems like a reasonable deal
like a third of your opponent’s deck (barring lolYorion) seems like it’d be really strong in some kind of… UR mill???

blinking Ulamog to get around Purphoros might actually be a reasonable strategy
so the deck is to control the board and win with your Ulamog
can be land desctruction or regular control
i started playing mtg arena
it’s fun! i have a mardu sacrifice deck because making it was a relatively low wildcard cost
i generally do decently well although i get bodied every time i play against jeskai fires and i play against jeskai fires A LOT
jeskai fires seems like a really fucking strong deck

Theres a crazy crazy cheap deck using all new cards from the new expansion and only common and uncommon cards (no rare or mythics at all)
It’s doing well in tournaments. Consider building that if u want a budget deck (its red/white)
