Master Rework of Doom!

That’s for the Mercenary and Alchemist. And Scorned has the power selection I mentioned. It should become more powerful, but it feels pointless to me to decide just not to have it as an option. Besides, framing is a powerful ability.

They side with the Blue Dragon until somebody else is winning, not just the early game.

It’s weaker than mindwarp. The class in general is weaker than illusionist in almost every way. Kinda like how you made Sellsword weaker than Enforcer in almost every way and Herbalist stronger than Brewer in most cases.

If you have ideas to make them more powerful, I’m all ears. It’s just an idea for a start.

Also no matter how much you buff them that still won’t truly solve the problem because THE CULT IS A THING.

You could add a separate class for Neutrals. Cult doesn’t have to be exclusively about type. It has always seemed arbitrary to me.

If you are going to have a rule you want to be as consistent as possible. Having an exception would be even more arbitrary.

And I still have no idea why you felt the need to Nerf the sellsword so much.

I didn’t mean to nerf the Sellsword. I just wanted to see if there was a way to make Rebound more useful for the Mercenary. Since killing somebody as the Mercenary rarely helps you.

Maybe order execution could be only 1 use then to make up for bypassing everything.

Make it so scorned can have anyone as their target(with the exception of the original CL, prince, mastermind, and fool), not just the BD, then.

My solution still does the same thing.

It helps it a bit too much though. It should still be possible to confirm reaper games, just not as easy.

Also, here’s a few other changes:

  • Scorned should know its target’s exact class. Also add a new passive: Rivalry - Your targets may not win as long as you are alive. You will keep this passive even if your class changes.

  • Psycho king’s deadly guards should bypass everything. Right now, psycho king is usually a weaker version of the normal NKs.

Before

Night Ability 1 - Prevent all visitors to the Unseen - 3 uses

Night Ability 2 - Kill someone that accused an Unseen last night - 1 use

After

Night Ability - Prevent visitors to target Unseen - 2 uses (and also you will kill the person who is first to accuse some random BD if he is executed. Want to get him killed? Too bad)

I didn’t even notice that. I’m restoring it to 3 uses.

Tell me right now. Why does the scorned exist.

It exists to make Investigators less trustworthy. It kind of destroys the point. It’s not too evil sided.

To add doubt to investigative claims. Scorned will still be able to do that, it just won’t be completely anti-BD.

The Psycho King is the frickin King. If he got crowned, there is enough trust in him, and it is your fault for losing it.

Good. Now it is an Enforcer but with no frenzy. Now fix all of the OTHER nerfs you have him for no reason.

I just turned Rebound into leverage, and that can be used to avoid Unseen deaths, or you can just get your target executed to murder someone.

It’s target can already be converted.
