Minority Rule Royale - Intensify Victory Royale

Also Ici this tells me you didn’t see me lose a final 3 in the turbo marshal ran earlier :^)

Alright, so. I won’t Get Into It™ but I feel the non-Fans here will probably need a brief rundown of what Internet League Blaseball is, without getting into the whole “War Against The Blaseball Gods” we’re fighting.

We’re currently in the postseason of Season 13 of the ILB. Here are the brackets for Round 3 of the postseason:

i want one

where do i obtain this legendary weapon

i got it at a job fair lol
i have like three of these

send me one immediately

The Fridays and the Tacos getting this far is very surprising, considering that both have a reputation for being, quite frankly, awful at blaseball. The Crabs used to be one of the strongest teams in the league, the first to Ascend™ to the Big Leagues before returning to the ILB last Season.

imagine trying to recruit students to work for your company by giving out sporks

However, experts reckon that the Crabs are nowhere near as dominant as they used to be, due to losing a fight against the Shelled One, which gave all of their batters the devastatingly bad Flinch effect.

In addition, before they departed the ILB for a season, their best players were wrenched from the team using the results of the Season 10 election. As a consequence, while they’re by no means bad (they are in the playoffs, after all) they’re by no means guaranteed to win.

Does this all make sense so far?

icibalus shut the fuck up

we dont want to hear about homestuck or whatever

(this is interesting please continue)

blaseball is basically just homestuck for stats nerds i will admit

Anyway, the next team in contention is the Los Angeli Unlimited Tacos

Hailing from the infinite multiplex of alteranate Los Angeli that once was in the place of Los Angeles before Ţ̷̻́h̵͈̦͇̊͊e̵̢̺͑ ̴̲̗̽̀͋G̶̢̏r̴̮̍͘a̴͍̮͒̔n̵̛͇͂̈́d̶̬͔͛̎ ̸̼̿͝U̵̼̭͑̈n̷͉̺̽̂̍ṡ̷͚͑͌͜l̵̻͋̏͠ͅa̵̜͎̎̄̄m̷̻̅̃͘ split it into a manifold alternate dimension, the Tacos have been enjoying their first genuinely good season.

what is this travesty of language
Los Angeles is already plural

they’re by far the smallest team in the league, but that small pitching rotation is actually working to their advantage here, as while neither of their pitchers are outsanding, they’re consistent

This does not spork joy

Season after season of Party Time buffs have gotten the Tacos to the point where their hitting is likewise consistently not awful, something that other teams in the league (cough the magic cough the shoe thieves) struggle with a lot, having a few star batters and then mostly terrible players.

Valentine Games, the Tacos’ star batter, is of course an excellent player, as you can immediately tell by their star rating.
