Well, technically it’s a countup, but the amount of trials doesn’t change, is what I mean.
Why couldn’t they? They could use it to “prove themselves as not the Mastermind”, like what you’re doing right now.
So they can override the wincon of another player but not themselves, even though they both have the same restriction. Is that your arguement?

The motives don’t override the wincons of players, they give them additional winconditions. In the hypothetical that you’re not Mastermind, you (who claims to be a bastard buffed survivor neut) and the Mastermind are two entirely different things.
