Arete’s good enough to respond to the reaction test reasonably as either alignment, but I don’t see a great motivation to do this as evil. Especially not as demon. I see Arete being Godfather in a world where there is a Lunatic or Goon who they know will want to evil, but Arete is probably not demon since this play risks getting double tapped
