if arete is zombuul: lynching them today doesn’t actually kill them even though they appear dead. They’re secretly still alive and have to be executed again to really kill them.

If arete is a different kind of demon with either TMI or high confidence that a mastermind is in play, if we execute them today, the game will last one more day until tomorrow. Tomorrow, if we execute someone evil or execute no one, good wins, but if we execute someone good, evil wins.

i agree that i really don’t think arete would want to win in this gimmicky way if evil
it would be cheating us out of a full game, which i know with relative certainty they’re not a fan of doing willfully.

all of this speculation is frivolous as i dont think arete would want to win the game in this way if evil
as long as i’ve known them, making sure everyone is having fun has meant a lot more to them than actually winning the game
