Yeah… but the thing is, had he not done so, then I’d probably have attacked him after the whole Apprentice RT fiasco. He gave his role before I could threaten ask him what his supposed role is though, so that’s a plus point in my book.

i agree with apprentice. Although I expect arete to die today, I will not contribute my vote towards it, because with godfather in-play seeming really likely, their death here is immensely less +EV for town as a whole than it is for themself.
(i also dont consent to the idea of declining to pursue offing a possible minion in favor of someone who basically cannot be one)
