Marshal watches in delight as the day closes. “That was an exciting one, wasn’t it tan? Right down to the wire.”
Tan replies back with a mouth full of popcorn. “Quality entertainment, I say. Well, I guess it’s time to put poor Kyo to an end.”
Tan walks over to Kyo, still holding the popcorn, and addresses him. “I’m going to be nice and give you a last meal. You want butter on this or not? Who am I kidding, of course you do.”
Tan pours butter on the popcorn and hands it to him. “Eat up, kid.”
Kyo nervously shoves a handful of popcorn in his mouth before he starts coughing up blood. Eventually, he collapses on the floor, motionless.
Marshal looks at Tan, unamused. Tan chuckles nervously.
“Whoops. I guess I grabbed the bottle labeled ‘Poison’, not ‘Butter’. My bad.” Tan winks at the horrified residents as they look at Kyo’s cold, dead body.

The town of Ravenswood Bluff began to stir from the long night, but the chirping of birds did little to calm the worry of the people. They gathered in the town square for another day of trials as Tan set the final preparations for the day in place.
“Just set that over there, and be sure to keep the sheet on it; that’ll be a fun reveal later. Oh, good morning everyone! I trust you all slept well?”
“Enough of your patronizing, Tan, just tell us who died last night.”
“You wound me… which makes me the only casualty of the last twelve hours.”
“Wait, you mean… No one died? Really?”
“Really really. I can think of a few reasons for this, but do you folks want to hear what really happened?” Tan leaned in close with a conspiratorial look on her face.
“Nobody wanted to kill because they thought Marshal would be writing more flavor.” Tan’s composure broke and she started giggling uncontrollably.
“Really, Tan? That’s the thanks I get for covering for your late ass?”
Day 3 rises to find everyone still alive… well, that wasn’t already dead. Nominations will open in twelve hours.
(And Marshal, I do appreciate you stepping up and writing D2’s execution flavor. You even get bonus points for being honest and immediately telling me how hard it was for you to come up with flavor. But this joke was too good to pass up.)

so I was thinking overnight and it’s very likely a Zombuul game (there is a player I’m hardreading as Gossip who made a true statement D1, + Godfather kill)
