Nope, the defintiions are way wider in this game. Thereās a role in Bad Moon Rising entirely based around host intentions.

It seems like this game is to outplay the host
But Wazza also responded in a pretty townie way later after realization, but Iām pegging Wazza now as Townlean and Hippo as Townread for sure, probably Towncore for his early game analysis of the Travelers

Sailor, for reference, is immortal, but each night chooses a player, and either their target becomes Drunk or the Sailor does. And if a Sailor is found dead, you have to immediately suspect why the Storyteller wouldnāt let them make their target Drunk.

The hosts canāt cheat but can instead interact within parameters given to them by the rules of the game (which the players know). So yes you can read into host intentions somewhat but often hosts will do things to subvert that to discourage you from doing so.
