But Kape is literally useless and needs excessive amounts of buffs

There is no way to mechanically gamesolve a person you think is suspicious, so I kept guessing and wondering, "Is it just weird meta things, good meta things, good things but look like evil, evil things that are basically good, just weird meta, and evil thing but its actually just a good thing, or Kyodaz’s always evil.

This game is the opposite of Forum of Lies in the sense that since it is flipless, no one is ever eliminated, and mechanical information can often be unreliable, it is often much more important to have good social reads than good mechanical reads in this game. Mechanical reads are important, but if the town attempts to solve this game only mechanically, they will always lose.
