I townlean them as well but for different reasons.
Namely expressing lack of interest early makes way more sense from a town pov than a scum one given that scum deviant is conditional lynchproof which is more ‘grabbing’ than town version

Plus I don’t think they would think of this exact thing to do to bring up.
