Would you think that whispers through DM would be better? Whispers are rather important to this game because good characters also have reasons to lie about who they are (Ravenkeeper or Soldier are good examples of this) or privately share their info (Washerwoman and Investigator, for example), plus evils have no scumchat and so need the whispers if they want to coordinate, so I’m not keen on giving those up altogether.

ST does not look eavesdrop on whispers though. If you claim mutant in whispers and you are mutant, they won’t end your existence unless you or they say you claimed mutant in whisper

I think no whispers and just permanent scumchat works better. It’s easier to read informed majority that way, which is ultimately the goal of most social deduction games.

There are many unorthodox elements that I’m not used to, so I can’t quite see it working all together or changing one thing without taking into account the others. For instance, every class being unique kind of necessitates that town needs private communication to FPS in any way.

I’m just saying to be prepared for the whisper system adding a lot of work and have measures in mind when things almost inevitably get broken on accident or more.

It’s generally good to have a goal + abilities together. I was confused about Outsiders goal, but I found it now though. :+1:

It also just looks nice and it is easy to distribute after rolling.

You’re not the first person to look at the Outsiders and go “Oh, they must be neutral or something.” But I did take care to specify that Outsiders are aligned with good.
