I thought he would be night killed if he was town. But that’s not guaranteed even if he’s town. And even if he’s killed, I know I’ve heard that with this game, sometimes Minions will sacrifice themselves to look like town. Since there’s no flips, that’s a strategy. So I thought it would be best to get his slot checked to be certain.

you acknowledge that even if you are Good (something which I am becoming less and less certain of by the minute) and functioning properly, you can still die overnight

your solution to that is ‘so if I die just kill Whysper’

but if we kill Whysper today, then we get a guaranteed minimum of 2 executions assuming Whysper is evil (no one has yet managed to come up with a mechanically viable world where she isn’t), whereas if we kill Intensify and he’s good, then it’s potentially possible that there won’t be a tomorrow, and even if there is, if you die, then we’re just killing Whysper anyway, when we could have killed her today and accomplished the same thing
