Yeah, that’s exactly what I’ve been thinking as well. And evil could make people overlook or forget mech info more easily that way.
Light doesn’t turn evil until N3 (N4 if Magnus doesn’t move clockhand), which we probably wouldn’t have reached without Light outing for some reason or another. He very likely would have done it himself when he realized that there shouldn’t have even been Outsiders to begin with (particularly if no one directly claimed Chieftain, he’d have been confirming an Effigy), but let me blame myself for it, okay?
You also forgot 4. Wierd voting mechanics
I put that under 2
clearly I should’ve made him an Urchin to guarantee the D1 claim
The real number 4 is arete
All of the past few town wins in this site have involved Arete
You wanna add an Outsider to an Ides game and not make it painfully obvious that you’ve done so, you add Apiarist. I mean, it’s still pretty obvious, but not painfully so.
I even said in my opening post, three of the four Outsiders are incentivized to claim immediately because this script is… I believe my nephew would use the word “cheeks”.
I don’t see the problem
Arete also goes under incredibly town sided setups I guess
I think new Urchin (Star-Crossed was it?) doesn’t want to claim immediately or he gets used as extra KPN by a Secondhand or Wendigo
What the heck are the new outsiders
RHM now makes good lose if their clockwise living neighbor is executed (but only if said neighbor is good aligned), Urchin lets Demon move the clockhand if it’s executed (but not when Urchin becomes the clockhand), and Apiarist effect only triggers if it dies with six or more people remaining.
Ok so is that a nerf or buff…
RHM is weird
Urchin change is probably a nerf in practice
Apiarist buffed I guess
Why can’t they just add an Outsider that makes poison also malfunction someone’s win condition
Well, Magnus was just really trying hard to see if he could turn things around. I think he did a great job trying something out. We would have still been caught otherwise anyway.
BTW, the spec chat is gone now?
yes
