Because Whysper is likelier to be Minion here, whereas you’re likelier to be Demon than Minion.

But if she was theoretically minion, then it would still be better to execute Whysper since if I am executed, and turns I’m not Demon at all, the game could end by then.

Also if she’s minion… wouldn’t that make your check useless then since she will be cleared as not evil or something

If Whysper is Minion, it’s better to try and kill the Demon. Demon > Minion. We kill you since you’re uncomfirmable. Even if you’re town, the game cannot end before tomorrow, it just can’t happen that way. And then we kill Whysper, or whoever else if it’s not them.
