How the hell would you be able to manipulate from the very start of the game in that case
Let me begin this post by saying something. I’m not dumb - I have ADHD though, and the time of day significantly affects my thought process and how I play the game.
What do I mean by that? Well, before this game started, I was capable of thinking of several plans for how I was going to use my double agent role. All of the plans involved baiting the demon to whisper to me, although they deviated from each other based on what I was going to soft to potential demons. All my plans involved allowing the demon to come to me risk free, which you could see by my first message I did exactly that - and more. I softed brainwasher by talking about how my cat was going to eat your brains. I was also thinking about posting a picture of a cat sitting in a chair, though I didn’t want the demon to have an incentive to get me executed, so I went with the brain washing part.
Then cloned liked that post almost immediately (if I recall correctly), which caused me to have a mental note of “Oh?”. However, right after that night slammed into my DM’s and started talking about how they were a demon who knew I was their partner demon. It was right around six? seven? oclock, and then my wires in my brain short circuited. I believe me trying to juggle two thought processes in my brain at once (Leafia is a minion because I’m a double agent and they cannot be sleeper (factually incorrect) and Night talking to me about them being a demon (which I was wondering if it was even possible right then)) caused my mind to inaccurately assume that the statement that Leafia couldn’t be sleeper walker was true. That’s because sometimes my mind fill in gaps of information in order to shorten my thought process. And that’s why I claimed double agent.
To be honest, after that happened, I tried to salvage it by talking about leaving to play 4D chess and trying to talk to cheese, but I don’t think I was successful so I think it’s more important to just talk about this.
Now that I answered why I claimed it, I have come to the conclusion that there is a high likely hood of either Cheese or Night being the demon. Cheese for liking the post where I softed brainwasher (and NOT EVEN SENDING ME CAT PICS UNTIL I THREATENED HIM) and Night because the reasoning for claiming to be that demon does not match up plus they made a post in this thread that stands out when I look at their play in whispers

This post is the post I’m talking about. The reason I asked how much experience they had in this type of game was because their play stunk of trying to see whether or not I was an actual minion or was a double agent. Plus, their reasoning as to why they faked the demon play doesn’t actually match up, which makes me suspect they were lying about that - which, why not necessarily scummy (town would lie in this setup) - it still makes me look at them with eyes

If I had to guess, I think Cheese just decided to like the post because you were threatening people for cat pics, rather than a Brainwasher soft.
Not sure about the Night reasoning tho since I’m slightly confused what you’re referring to.
Night claiming Demon partner to you isn’t really sus tho, I think that was just a elaborate RT to trick you since I guess Night thought you were new to botc.
I agree that the reasoning on cheese is stretched, but I think it’s something to think about especially since it’s early D1. As for night, I disagree with them claiming demon to me specifically to not be suspicious. I’m not saying that they are for a fact demon, but me in particular and that post talking about how they would have preferred me over cheese makes me suspect them.

I can see what your reasonings are so far.
Granted they are definitely a little stretched to some extent, but.
I’m not really surprised so far tho considering our thread is 50% fluff, 40% mech talk and 10% social reading, and I’m 25% of this thread.
So your logic sounds good so far.
I still tho disagree with the Cheese read, but I acknowledge that the Night one might have some basis.

No I meant I was going to try to communicate with cheese to get somewhere. I ended up outting as double agent though.
