like, say im a freak. unless people are rushing to destroy me and theres nothing i can do to convince them at all, im not attacking. because i stand a better chance at propogating the virus by biding my time and helping them
no, i dont. because of the two day waiting period. any sane person would open up that theyโve been infected instantly, and any good graces ive gained by that point would be wasted as my once only chance is shredded and im locked up and/or killed.

its better to bide my time, and wait, until im in a position of power, where they cant really stop me from infecting a large number of people
likewise im incentivised to not infect anybody that wouldnt instantly tell about it, as theyโd be dumb enough to infect the people im choosing not to, blowing my cover yet again
again, unless i manage to catch them all by surprise, not that likely to get a majority.
if that even works properly. we know its in their mouths, but it might need to be in a certain concentration to infect someone.
like i said, until im in a position of power where theres not much they can do to stop my, im better off waiting.
the risk is not worth the reward.
