if you were inactive i was asking magnus to puppet you in exchange for getting him a poetic ending.
otherwise i was going to do what i always would.
i wasnt lying when i said it was a way for both of us to win. with players no longer meddling, i could set up a system that would never break due to fate, and therefore death would be minimized, allowing me to win.
and we could set up that system to maximise everyoneās happiness, kinda like how i told you, allowing you to win.
and everyone elseās goals would most likely be encompassed within the happiness.
it may not be a satisfying ending to you, but it would be a win for your character, along with everyone elseās

i could break whatever promise you had me give as soon as i had all 5. (but not a moment before)
had you given me the not-infragilis box, i could have gotten the other 2 boxes nigh simultaneously.
there was one in daerun, home of the elves, that had a teleport block for everywhere except the entrance, but im sure that i could figure out a way around it, perhaps the legendary status of the box would allow me to pass through it? perhaps the wards are coded to only block teleport rings, and not free-form (or box) teleportation? idk, but i would have done it.
the other box was in the village where i started, anvard in the CH 2 world i believe. in a cave somewhere. possibly deeper into the cave where you killed me the first time. it wasnt TP blocked, but it was sealed in a crystal. previously i had sent soul shade to go and find it since they were familiar with the place. at one point i had asked how he was doing on his sidequest, asking to just find out when he gets the box, and magnus told me he was āfacing his inner demonsā i tried to astral commune with him but was unable. presumably something about this was blocking all signals from coming in (but the spes box just sorta already knows the stuff so it didnt need a signal from the cave)
soul was faced with his double, the same in every way except for the sword. the other one seemed to have some knowledge of the fourth wall and may or may not have been an angle (or something of the same persuasion), presumably defending the box.
at some point, i aquired an elven teleport ring to try and get these two boxes without the one from you, hja, and after i found the TP block in daerun, i teleported my group (hail & james) directly to the box, only to see the crystal. we were in the process of finding the person soul was with when the game was canned
although i will say, had you done the thing where you gave me the one box, i really would have told you my plan in full, and we could have tried to work something out. i know in these games we tend to be opposed, but let it be known i made an honest attempt at working with you

isnt a matter of whether or not he (as a figure within the universe that is) would let me. with all 5 boxes i have nigh-godlike powers, enough to at very least not be instantly decimated by him, and previously it has been shown that magnus does have stats.
plus i know of at least one other situation in which, using the boxes, i could do something out of magnusās reach.
as a host of a game? not sure but i think heād like the poetry. plus, if iāve cleaved it from the rest of the MMU, that means the physical worlds are separate, but they all can retain some similar features, depending on time period. so id guess magnus is one of those things, so killing him here, and then closing the seal on the world, would essentially remove magnus from that world, while still allowing him to have a presence in other worlds.
also, as a result of the above, this version of God!Magnus would have less reach than the others, and so would probably be a bit weaker.
and for those wondering why id cleave monsters from the rest of the MMU, its not just to properly end the game and remove player/magnus interference from it, its because in that world there would be a god-like presence in the form of an entity which i essentially share a consciousness with.
so i could just join any game in the mmu, and then call upon myself and basically win instantly.
i was basically locking it off so that marcus wouldnt be able to be called upon if the stakes werenāt at least universal (in that they could effect the entirety of that gameās world, not just the players or their surrounding area, i.e. like karma)
on that note, @Magnus could you tell us what the standing of canned games is in the mmu? is it on a case-by-case basis, in which case i would like to know the state of monsters if possible, or is there some standard?

well i would have asked you to narrate it accurately, and it has been shown that the boxes are able to supercede you in certain circumstances, if in a limited way
