i’m mostly focusing on the fact that we’ve got different reads on marshal which isn’t an issue

i’m assuming/expecting there to be reasons that will be expanded upon by kat at some point, as will I

i skimmed vulretes ISO in the hydra mash before rereading this because it’s the last towngame of his that i know of? too lazy to skim countries as of right now, might change my mind on that later depending on read confidence/liklihood of them dying today (like, if i end at a weakish townread and hes prob dying today, i’d look at that too, if WiM allowed it )

right off the bat i think his treatment of chloe (and the people pushing her) is genrally ~fine? given i’m pretty fucking confident chloe is currently a villager, there’s a few ways to intrepet his actions here

11. W!Vulgard knows that V!Chloe will eventually reveal as an innocent child, defends her for towncred and gamerpoints, etc
12. (>rand V!) Vulgard just doesn’t think Chloe is a wolf at this stage of the game and is attempting to figure out what people are seeing because he doesn’t see it, or just thinks the pushes are an overreaction for things that aren’t generally that AI
13. im wrong about everything and Chloe is a wolf and idk what that means for vulgards alignment because this world is mathematically impossible :^)

i think that, regardless of alignment, the stance he has or is feigning having is “i don’t think the pushes on chloe are genuine/logical at this point of the game”, most evident in how he treats Ghana/Marshal in response to the push on Chloe

context to these points is somewhat important given there’s a mob at vulgards door screaming at him that he is not committing “villagery posting”, because i think with that in mind that this thought is fairly villagery?

so, think of it like this; if vul is a wolf then they immediately aren’t that likely to think about this imo, becuase it’s a weird kind of read that imo isn’t actually correct in a way that a wolf under pressure is likelier to not post it but a villager might believe it at face value

maybe im giving him too much credit for it but i’ve seen wolfgard write way better thoughts than this and same with V!ulgard but like, weh

Not sure how much weight I attribute to that read, honestly.

i like the “i don’t think this is why you’re right, but i think you’re right” approach

easily fakable but it gets a singular joypoint from me

okay my general vibes from vulgards ISO is that i feel like some of their takes are >rand V despite the fact i disagree with them at a fundamental level,

their progression on ghana i think is >rand to be real because i don’t think vul has actually played with ghana and without any knowledge of what the hell they’re doing i think it’s all valid because what even is ghana doing half the time

i’m somewhat worried with the confidence of his read on me, because it feels uncharacteristic of him reading me given i’m pretty sure his track record on me isn’t that great and the post that triggered this unyielding confidence isn’t something that i think is out of my range? and i think he knows that?

their response to pressure this game is something i’ve been going back and forth internally about because i think it’s good that they don’t really seem phased by it, but if they expect to go over early, they probably aren’t going to falter at pressure anyway?

that above paragraph is amplified by the fact that night is like, apparently being pretty cringe in other thread when i just witnessed her being a glaring villager in our last game together to insane levels

it really concerns me a lot actually because they could give zero fucks because they’re uninvested in a game they aren’t going to live long in no matter what they do
