given what he’s said in the past adding more whisper reading ability’s on starting scum or removing whispers entirely.

But if it’s aligned to a faction then it could possibly not trust the king. IMO the win con should just be the same as the current king’s. That way you won’t have the problem of the Messenger not trusting you.
I would prefer it if whispers were just kept as is(They don’t need any extreme solutions like removing or limiting them. Mass-claiming is the problem; not whispering) and an anti-whisper NE was added with the old maid spy.

What if the Messenger were aligned with the starting King’s faction but didn’t know what it was, and the King had no proof the Messenger were actually Messenger?
The huge problem here is what if the messenger dies early? Im vary much in to explore this idea to break the king whisper meta

The messenger, unless he dies n1, could easily find protection through the king or a phys/knight since it can confirm itself pretty easily
To be honest I think we just get a whisper messenger meta. The main reason people whisper to king is because he is in a perceived position of power and if he is evil he won’t know who else is evil and if he is good he can’t be converted. If we have a class that is guaranteed 90% bd (as opposed to 60%) I think they just out and since they can easily prove (due to hidden whispers) we still get a claim game just to a different leader.
