I was thinking the same thing, and if so that tells us they had a reason to kill the taster, which makes me think that we should be looking at finding scum in strawberry (if probability is to be believed). With that said,

I know the scum team and their flavor

Celeste is a vanilla wolf
Squid was a chocolate wolf
Livicus is a strawberry wolf.

Reason is Celeste WOULD be able to get away fake claiming their flavor due to them lying a lot, and it would allow them to try to lynch the vanillas.

I think Mole could be the Strawberry Scum
and Ashe could be the Vanilla Scum

Mole has been very slanky recently and Ashe could be messing with us if deepwolfing

Also worth noting, it feels like Mole and Ashe personally did not interact much with Squid whatsoever

and Mole was basically slightly fluffing before he hammered Squid
