Kingmakers should be avoided, alches and neutral kings are sadly that. I’m fine with most of the changes from a theoretical stand point
When I say this I think most of us can agree
Dying as a person who only wins if they survive, when you guarded yourself is sad
The point of Neut king was to try your best to find evils in the early game, and if it failed and you felt things were swapping, start stalling until you suddenly ex a confirmed BD. It was a highly skilled class that took someone that really understood how to play it, to win.
Removing it is really unfortunate. Like many changes in this patch in my opinion. It dumbs the game down so the younger crowd can play.
No the point of neutral king is to survive
Goal:survive
Not die to a butler
Or a reaper empower
and that’s how you survive. Play BD strong early on, make it questionable mid-game and suddenly flop. I’ve won Neut king by finding evils, and by surviving until all BD are dead. I know how to survive as neut king.

The patch didn’t make things worse. It made the game better (minus the removal of dead interaction)
Every other change improved the game.
But besides that, we should be having a serious discussion, instead of insulting each other. The thread now is practically a joke.

Strats my friend, strats! If someone just whispered to someone on that day they’re likely to whisper to them again especially if the person who was whispered replied
DK was sadly too OP, also I find phys’s new day ability amazing, wish herb could a nerfed version of that
I’m not liking that they removed call of the dead but it did have some problems, it isn’t fun when a poss can’t use their abilities, also I find it less effort now because I don’t have to write what the dead say every night

I do believe Maid Spy is a bit of luck , though.
I agree with you on DK. It was too op , and too swingy late-game.
They removed dead interaction becuase of how unreliable it was. I don’t understand why people complain when typically players left as soon as they died. I do believe Mystic should have Conduit as a main ability , as it makes them function differently from the Prince , a neighbourizer.
